About Us
The Wild Horses Collective aims to capture the zeitgeist by working with individuals who are inspired to make a difference at societal level.
Become who you truly are.
After years of working with and through organisations because work was acknowledged as a route to fulfilment, we notice that individual strengths might no longer find sufficient outlet in corporate goals. The truth is, people aren’t really motivated by companies’ half-hearted efforts and row-back on promises, so let’s find motivation from the inside.
The coaching space is where magic happens.
Karen Hands – Founder
Coach, facilitator, public speaker and change agent
Karen has reached her happy place after a career path of twists and turns. She started out as a chemical engineer and project manager committed to improving environmental performance, and proved to herself that she could motivate others to achieve results that made a difference. Senior managers and decision-makers looked the other way, so Karen moved on in search of external recognition of her talents. So began a decade of seizing opportunities and broadening skills to encompass leadership coaching, high-level facilitation and delivering customer service.
The next inflection point saw Karen working almost exclusively with women, coaching speaking skills and confidence, and becoming an influential public speaker in her own right. From the reflective introvert of her engineering days, Karen stepped on stage and made her voice count.
As the pandemic loomed, Karen moved online and built a global team to deliver a prestigious women’s leadership development programme. She became an Associate Fellow of Saïd Business School, Oxford University, in 2022.
Karen has subsequently trained with Oasis Human Relations “head, heart and soul” to strengthen her ability to create space for transformation in her coaching clients.
